Hi Everyone! I just wanted to let you all know about my new career as a dog trainer/behavior modification consultant. I am currently the trainer at the Superpetz store on Miamisburg-Centerville Rd. (next to Toys R Us), and the store has just started offering my classes, so I'm trying to get the word out. I am teaching a puppy kindergarten class(dogs 8 wks-5 mos) on Tuesdays at 6:30 pm & on Saturdays at 11 am., as well as a beginning obedience class (dogs 5mos & up) on Tuesdays at 7:30pm & Saturdays at 12 pm. Classes last about an hour & run for 6 weeks. I cover basic obedience skills (sit, down, come, loose-leash walking, etc.) in addition to all of the other issues that go along with owning a dog (socialization, handling, nutrition, preventing & "untraining" destructive behaviors, etc.) I have over 10 years of experience in dog training & behavior modification & my methods are based on positive reinforcement, not coercion & punishment. Classes are $89 for 6 weeks, & people can join anytime, with no waiting, because of the unique rotating curriculum I have created. I also offer private training/behavior consults for those who would like more one-on-one attention. All classes are held at the Superpetz store on Miamisburg-Centerville Rd., next to Toys R Us.
